Liatrio 101

Who We Are

Liatrio is a collaborative DevOps consulting firm dedicated to helping enterprises accelerate software delivery and drive innovation.

Our team acts as “boots on the ground” change agents, enhancing development practices and the delivery pipeline to help organizations respond swiftly to market needs. We transform people, processes, culture, and technology, enabling clients to deliver exceptional value end-to-end.

We thrive on collaboration, curiosity, and continuous learning, empowering every team member to experiment, iterate, and communicate openly. Here, every voice matters, and we value action—turning ideas into practical solutions. As teammates, we support one another, share knowledge freely, and are committed to making a positive impact both within our team and for our clients.

Our First Principles

Our First Principles guide how we deliver value, collaborate, and improve as a team. Below, you’ll find each principle along with real-world examples you’ll encounter during your onboarding and tips on how to start putting them into practice.

Small Batch, Fast Feedback

  • What It Means: Break down work into small, manageable tasks and seek immediate feedback to continuously improve.
  • What This Looks Like for You: During the Flywheel program, you’ll work on bite-sized projects, focusing on iterative learning and receiving feedback from teammates. This approach helps you grow quickly, understand our work style, and make fast adjustments.
  • How to Emulate It: Start small! Break down tasks, seek feedback often, and think of every small improvement as a step toward the bigger picture.

Culture of Experimentation and Empowerment

  • What It Means: Everyone at Liatrio is encouraged to try new ideas, test them quickly, and make decisions that push us forward.
  • What This Looks Like for You: You’ll be encouraged to share ideas during meetings, try out new approaches, and get hands-on experience. You have a New Hire Buddy and Career Sponsor as mentors, so feel empowered to ask questions, try things out, and adjust.
  • How to Emulate It: Dive in! Take initiative, test small ideas, and learn from both successes and setbacks. We value the process as much as the outcome.

Direct and Transparent Communication

  • What It Means: Open, clear, and honest communication across all levels helps us stay aligned and effective.
  • What This Looks Like for You: You’ll experience this in stand-ups, where challenges are discussed openly, and through direct feedback from your team. Transparency is key in everything from sharing project updates to communicating challenges.
  • How to Emulate It: Ask questions openly, share your thoughts in team meetings, and always aim to communicate clearly and concisely.

Focus on Flow

  • What It Means: Streamline processes and remove roadblocks to create an efficient, end-to-end workstream.
  • What This Looks Like for You: As you start working with us, you’ll see that Liatrio aims for seamless workflows from task assignment to production. Automated testing and smooth approvals help keep our work moving smoothly.
  • How to Emulate It: Look for ways to simplify tasks and avoid over-complicating workflows. Small improvements in the process can make a big difference.

Emphasis on Action

  • What It Means: Prioritize doing over discussing; start testing ideas as soon as possible to learn and adapt quickly.
  • What This Looks Like for You: If you have an idea or are tackling a task, jump in and start creating! For example, in Flywheel, you’ll quickly turn ideas into prototypes or initial drafts instead of waiting for everything to be perfect.
  • How to Emulate It: When in doubt, start! If you’re not sure about an approach, try a small test and adjust from there. Action breeds learning, and learning drives results.

Make sure you memorize these, there will be a test. Just kidding. We don't do that here. As you go through the onboarding process, look around to see how others are living our principles, and think of what they mean to you!
